2011 Photos and Information
Women in Print is proving to be a continued success. This year we exceeded expectations, with nearly 500 attendees nationwide. Women from the print media industry came together for a night of networking, good food and company to celebrate women in a typically male dominated industry.
The 2011 events held during March featured key note speaker Stacey Currie. Stacey is a speaker, a published author and the Official Ambassador for the Lighthouse Foundation. She still finds time to keep fit, run a successful signs and banners business and stay passionate about helping others to achieve their goals, all the time caring for five children. Her speech was described by guests as "gutsy and inspiring".
Stacey spoke about how she, without any previous sales experience, singlehandedly opened her business and closed over $300,000 worth of sales in her first 12 months. She went on to double her turnover each year thereafter. This was an achievement that won her a nomination in the 2010 Telstra Women in Business Awards. All attendees at this year's Women in Print dinners received a copy of Stacey's book 'The Rich Get Richer, The Poor Can Too'.
Below are a selection of photos from the 2011 events. Evidence that each event was different, yet successful in their own right.
